How to use email with Flazio Domains
Welcome to the tutorial How to use email with Flazio Domains.
With Flazio Domains you get a free mailbox on every domain you want to activate or transfer to us.
To create your mailbox, simply log in to your personal area using the Log in button.
On the management screen you will find, on the left, the list with the buttons that will allow you to access the various areas of the Domains panel.
By clicking the Domains button, you will see the list of registered domains.
Find the domain on which you want to activate the email mailbox and click the Email button, shown with the envelope icon, to activate your mailboxes.
It may be helpful to use the search field at the top right to find the domain you want to work on.
Once the mailbox is activated, we can proceed with adding the DNS records required for it to work, through the edit panel. Then click Edit marked with the pencil icon.
Among the settings shown on the next screen, you can find the complete list of the Domain information, including Nameservers and DNS Records.
Click Show DNS Records and locate the CNAME record group.
Set this record:
SUBDOMAIN
HOSTNAME
mailbuilderbuilder.com
Next, locate the MX record group and enter this record:
SUBDOMAIN
Leave the field empty.
PRIORITY
1
HOSTNAME
mailbuilderbuilder.com
Continue with the SRV records and create 5 records as indicated:

Finally, apply the TXT record with the following values:
SUBDOMAIN
Leave the field blank.
HOSTNAME:
"v=spf1 include:_spf.mailbuilderbuilder.com ~all".
If the DNS records have been set up correctly, the service can be used after a few hours.
If you want to connect your email to an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird or Apple Mail, you can do so using the following settings:
IMAP incoming mail settings:
Incoming mail server: mail.flazio.com
Port: 993
Active security certificate: SSL/TLS
POP3 incoming mail settings:
Incoming mail server: mail.flazio.com
Port: 995
Active security certificate: SSL/TLS
Always keep a copy saved on the server: Enabled
SMTP outgoing mail settings:
Outgoing mail server: mail.flazio.com
Port: 465
Active security certificate: SSL/TLS
Authentication via username and password: Enabled
Remember that the username is your mailbox name (example: info@mariorossi.com).
